As an itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll work across two school sites, engaging with a diverse student population whose ages and needs may vary. While state guidelines cap caseloads at 60, the average workload is closer to 45 students, allowing for focused, individualized care. This is an on-site role and requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, enabling you to connect with students and families from different backgrounds.

Your expertise will support not only direct therapy but also consultation and teamwork with educators and parents, making a meaningful difference in students’ academic and personal journeys.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement and Illinois SLP License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential
• Pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
• Flexibility for itinerant travel between two sites

Role Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, intervention, and individualized therapy for students
