Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and thorough reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
