Shelter Insurance Agent Responsibilities Develop new client prospects and cultivate relationships within the community. Sell Shelter Insurance products and manage the agent’s own agency. Lead, train, and oversee staff members to perform administrative duties and support sales growth. Maintain accurate records of sales, commissions, and agency expenses. Qualifications Motivated attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. Strong communication skills in a sales environment. Prior sales experience and a college degree in general business courses are helpful but not required. Willingness to build an agency from the ground up without needing upfront capital or loans.
