Sales Representative

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Institutional Products & Solutions Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with government agencies, municipalities, educational institutions, Head Start programs, universities, nonprofit organizations, and private sector clients. The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional with a passion for building long-term partnerships and exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities within government agencies, municipalities, Head Start programs, public and private schools, universities, and nonprofit organizations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Assess client needs and recommend products and solutions that best meet their requirements.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through closing while maintaining consistent follow-up.
Participate in government bids, RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement processes.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and account activity.
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development updates.
Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery.
Represent the company at trade shows, educational conferences, and industry events.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and market opportunities.
Meet or exceed established sales goals while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in consultative or institutional sales.
Experience selling to government agencies, municipalities, educational institutions, or Head Start programs is highly preferred.
Experience with government procurement, bids, RFPs, or RFQs is a strong plus.
