Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, employing a strengths-based approach to guide clients toward their goals.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, dynamics within relationships, and personal histories to inform treatment planning.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, adjusting them as necessary based on client progress.

• Utilize family systems theory to facilitate discussions around relationship dynamics, effective communication practices, and managing family stressors in a therapeutic setting.

• Provide immediate interventions during crisis situations, ensuring the safety of those involved and developing follow-up strategies.

• Document treatment sessions accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of client information.

• Facilitate educational workshops on communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills for clients seeking to enhance their interpersonal interactions.

• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to promote coordinated care for clients, ensuring holistic treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population comprised of individuals and families facing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• A minimum of one year of experience providing therapy as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

• Solid understanding of outpatient therapy services and family systems principles.
