Contract Line Cook - Richmond, VA
We are seeking a skilled Contract Line Cook to join our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards, and collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is required. This is a contract position with competitive compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards
- Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Monitor inventory and report any shortages
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Food safety certification is a plus
