Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and couples therapy to a wide range of clients, addressing their unique mental health needs.

• Document all client interactions with precision, ensuring timely completion of notes and record-keeping activities within our secure electronic medical records (EMR) system.

• Coordinate ongoing appointments efficiently, maintaining an updated calendar to manage client schedules effectively.

• Utilize a third-party billing service to manage claims and client accounts, ensuring seamless payment processing and insurance communications.

• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability by working with clients presenting varied clinical issues, fostering a therapeutic space conducive to trust and healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In our hospice center setting, you will be primarily supporting clients at different stages of life who are facing terminal illnesses, and their families. Your primary goal will be to provide emotional support, facilitate discussions around grief and loss, and help clients and families navigate through their complex emotions. Skilled therapists should be able to address the emotional, psychological, and social challenges clients face, fostering dignity and peace during such sensitive times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology.

• Possession of an active LCSW license, enabling independent practice in Texas.

• Demonstrated professionalism and strong therapeutic boundaries.

• Availability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours a week with flexibility to include evening sessions.
