Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be immersed in an array of essential responsibilities, including:

• Providing direct clinical services both virtually and in the community to clients presenting with symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.

• Building and fostering trusting relationships with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary team members to promote effective follow-through of treatment plans.

• Conducting evidence-based assessments and screenings, tailoring interventions and care plans to meet individualized client needs.
\n
• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring services address the presenting challenges and align with client goals.
\n
• Monitoring and evaluating case progress, and ensuring adherence to admission, treatment, and discharge protocols.
\n
• Collaborating with other disciplines within the agency to promote integrated care approaches, including crisis intervention and referrals to external agencies as needed.

• Engaging actively in quality improvement initiatives and committee participation to enhance service delivery standards and patient care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role centers on working with clients from diverse backgrounds who present with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. The emphasis on serving underserved communities allows you to engage with clients from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, each requiring sensitivity and a personalized approach to care.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Virginia.

Preferred Experience\n
