We are seeking a Controller to play a key role in guiding the company's financial strategy and supporting operational success. This position goes beyond traditional accounting oversight - serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership while helping drive financial visibility, process improvement, and sustainable growth across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 5 employees across all accounting operations Oversee the monthly close process and financial consolidation for multiple locations while providing technical accounting guidance to staff Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Partner with senior leadership to develop, administer, and monitor financial plans and budgets, keeping leadership informed of organizational financial performance Direct all accounting functions, including policy development, financial systems improvements, and operational management Establish and maintain strong internal financial and operational controls, ensuring timely reporting to executive leadership Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies; monitor regulatory changes and manage organizational impact Develop and implement structured reporting cadence and performance metrics to proactively assess business performance Manage fixed asset accounting, including inventory control and depreciation schedules Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) 8+ years of progressive accounting experience , currently holding a Controller title or similar , with demonstrated 6+ years of management experience Manufacturing industry experience required Experience supervising core accounting functions including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Invoicing, Inventory Accounting and Payroll Experience with cost accounting Experience with SAP Strong business and financial acumen with sound judgment and decision-making skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in Bloomingdale, IL, is hiring a Controller. #J-18808-Ljbffr
