Litigation Legal Assistant | Chicago, IL | Onsite

LHH is working with a client, a well-respected law firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity to support attorneys handling commercial and business litigation matters in a collaborative and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage attorney calendars, dockets, court deadlines, and appointments
• Prepare and electronically file documents in state and federal courts
• Maintain attorney time entry and billing records
• Draft, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files
• Screen calls and correspondence and respond appropriately
• Assist with trial preparation and other litigation support activities
• Provide administrative support while maintaining strict confidentiality

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of litigation legal assistant experience
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court e-filing procedures
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload with accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365
• Experience with document management systems is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 , depending on experience
