Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough evaluations of patients, proposing diagnostic tests, and creating personalized healthcare plans
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with supervising physicians or independently, based on your credentials
• Instructing patients and their families on prevention, wellness practices, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in ongoing patient follow-ups and managing chronic care initiatives
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and holistic care
• Accurately documenting care and medical histories in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oklahoma
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days)
