Looking for an engaging contract opportunity in a dynamic educational setting? This in-person position offers you the chance to work across multiple school sites, including elementary, K-8, and high school levels, in the Tucson, AZ area. You’ll be stepping in for a maternity leave position from January through June 2027, making a significant impact on students’ lives as a physical therapist within school environments.

Ideal candidates bring not only expertise in pediatric and adolescent physical therapy but also flexibility, openness to feedback, and a collaborative spirit when working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current license to practice physical therapy in Arizona
• Experience in school settings, working with elementary through high school populations
• Familiarity with IEPs, assessments, and implementing therapy in accordance with educational goals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable to various school environments and flexible in scheduling
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and work collaboratively with staff and administrators
• Commitment to providing student-centered therapy tailored to individual needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students across multiple campuses
• Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in educational settings
• Document progress and maintain compliance with relevant guidelines and standards
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
• Travel between assigned school sites as required
