Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Facilitating and leading consumer groups to enhance peer support and community building.
\n
• Engaging in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to continually improve service delivery and collaborate with your colleagues.
\n
• Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients, their families, and relevant stakeholders while employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Advocating for clients by connecting them to local agencies and civic resources that meet their diverse social service needs.
\n
• Collaborating with volunteers and interns, as well as planning and promoting activities that are tailored to consumers’ unique needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals experiencing challenges related to mental health, particularly during the perinatal period. Your expertise will be essential in guiding clients through their emotional journeys, helping them manage stress, anxiety, and depression associated with pregnancy, postpartum issues, and parenting challenges. You will utilize a strengths-based, culturally competent approach to engage clients effectively and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
\n
• No history of medical malpractice claims verified by a third-party source.
\n
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on your caseload and experience level.
