Nobel Biocare Territory Representative (Washington DC)

Job Description The Nobel Biocare Territory Representative is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales and service goals mainly in dental clinics and/or dental laboratories within an assigned territory, through the effective selling and promoting of Nobel Biocare products, solutions, and services to existing and potential new customers within the framework of organizational policies and directives. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement a sales plan for existing and new customers, assess their needs and characteristics, and present appropriate products, solutions, and services. Analyze and assess customer and territory sales trends, plan sales activity based on territory needs to ensure the territory meets or exceeds assigned monthly, quarterly, and/or annual sales goals. Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction with products, solutions, and services offered; implement and monitor creative marketing activities aimed at expanding core business. Identify and maintain regular contact with prospective customers, develop and implement creative strategies to convert them from competitors to new customers. Develop and maintain relationships with key influential thought leaders; utilize these relationships to expand market share. Maintain accurate customer files and records to provide complete up-to-date customer information that can be shared within the local organization. Report to management about product issues, loss or potential loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies that adversely or positively affect local sales. Stay informed on products, technologies, clinical studies, competitive activity, and other relevant information; apply this knowledge in strategies and tactics to develop commercial activity. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures and demonstrate the ability to effectively implement them at the territory level. Establish and maintain a travel schedule that allows consistent contact with existing and potential customers, following the sales plan and logical routing plan. Manage the assigned geographical territory within the allocated expense budget. Complete all administrative paperwork in a timely manner. Participate in national, local, and international trade shows and company meetings as appropriate. Support Yorba Linda educational programs when territory customers are attending; Yorba Linda education managers will communicate with representatives when needed. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of achievement-oriented sales experience, preferably in the medical device or dental field – implant experience is a plus. Ability to drive a car is an essential function of the position; car allowance and mileage reimbursement provided. Preferred Skills/Experience Ability to digest, comprehend, and verbalize highly technical product and clinical information related to company and industry products. Professional sales skills. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Basic to intermediate computer skills. Territory Greater Metro DC, Bethesda, Rockville, Frederick County, Hagerstown, Martinsburg, Annapolis, and Southern MD. Ideal candidate should live centrally to the territory (Greater Washington DC or Montgomery County preferred). Target Market Salary Range Actual compensation packages consider a wide range of factors including geographic location, skill set, education, experience, performance, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) match, and/or other applicable plans. $73,600 – $90,000.
