Cardiac Device RN Cardiology
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 4 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Requirements:
- BLS certification
- Completion of a pacemaker/ICD Technician program or equivalent experience
- EPIC experience within the last 2 years
- Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform independent technical management of implanted cardiac rhythm management devices including pacemakers and defibrillators.
- Monitor and assess patient data from implanted cardiac monitors.
- Educate patients on the use and maintenance of cardiac devices.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care strategies.
- Document patient interactions and device function in electronic medical records.
Compliance / Notes:
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- Reliable transportation is required, as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
