Night Shift Supervisor

Area Control Center Supervisor Typical Duties Ensure the Area Control Center (ACC) and Range Control Center (RCC) are supervised through the planning and scheduling process for launch and aeronautical operations. Ensure control of airspace and air assets in support of launch operations, pre‑launch tests, and aeronautical operations. Serve as the liaison between Amentum, Space Launch Delta 30 (SLD30), 2ROPS/DON, Range Customers, and hosted organizations for range support requirements. Support launch and aeronautical operations in United States Space Force (USSF) certified positions: Duty Air Controller (DAC), Air Controller (AC), Surface Area Surveillance Controller (SASC), and Instrumentation Controller (IC). Ensure the ACC is staffed with qualified personnel needed to successfully plan and manage launch, landing, and aeronautical operations. Ensure personnel are properly trained to execute their responsibilities and receive initial and recurring guidance, instructions, and direction needed to ensure quality and timely service. Provide coaching and mentoring to personnel unable to meet Amentum standards for technical quality, customer service, or timeliness. Review work products prior to release to ensure quality and consistency with Amentum operating instructions, policies, procedures, and organizational responsibilities. Ensure ACC adheres to USSF, Department of Defense (DoD), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, directives, inter‑agency agreements, policies, and procedures. Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions in accordance with applicable SFRC performance work statement (PWS) and contract deliverable (CDRL) requirements. Vigorously pursue initiatives to improve the quality, efficiencies, and timeliness of Section and SFRC enterprise solutions, products, or services. Minimum Requirements Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience in a technical or military environment. Three (3) years of supervisory/management experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook). Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Graduate of a USAF Air Weapons Controller/Air Weapons Manager, USN Air Intercept Controllers Course, or equivalent air or weapons control training program. Flexibility to work non‑duty hours or weekends to support specific project or mission requirements. Salary and Other Compensation The annual starting salary for this position is between $100,000–$118,000. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for bonus or long‑term incentive compensation awards.
