JMT is currently ranked #45 on Engineering News-Record's list of the Top 500 Design Firms.Position summary: Responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining client relationships that result in sustainable and profitable business; seeking, developing and securing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic business and tactical action plans and participating in related marketing and business activities for appropriate service line.Essential functions and responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a strong and diverse business/industry networkDevelop relationships with new/existing clients to discover project and program informationConduct market research and gather information on potential markets, clients and projectsDevelop, monitor and implement strategic business and action plans for potential markets, clients, and projectsMonitor client performance trends/issues utilizing CRMObtain feedback from clients to assess past JMT performance. Develop correction action plans, as necessaryLead client presentations, pitches, and proposals to effectively position services and secure new business opportunities.Participate in training and development of future firm leadersInvolved in Professional organizations, committees, and Officer positionsDevelop and report on Metrics of Marketing successNonessential functions and responsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree10+ years of related experienceComprehensive knowledge of firm's practice areas, clients and competitionLeadership, management or supervisory experienceProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledgeable of the RFP structure and proposal processStrong understanding of A/E industry terminology, business practices and delivery methodsPreferred Experience Professional Registration and/or certifications in area of specializationWorking ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking.
