Senior New Business Development Executive

PMC Commercial Interiors, a Best In Class Haworth dealer serving the Carolinas, is seeking a Senior New Business Development Executive to drive strategic growth across the Triangle commercial furniture market. This is a hunter role for a proven sales professional who can identify, cultivate, and close complex, high-value accounts while representing PMC's "Creating Spaces" brand at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive market share growth by identifying, developing, and closing relationships with target accounts, key decision-makers, and industry influencers.
• Own the full new business cycle; from prospecting and qualifying leads through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through networking groups, referral partnerships, digital/social prospecting, and strategic outreach.
• Partner with PMC's Interior Design team to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic, and budget-aligned space solutions.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals and competitive bids for major accounts.
• Serve as a brand ambassador, positioning PMC's value proposition to decision makers.
• Maintain and expand industry expertise through continuing education, professional associations, and market intelligence.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven success in B2B new business development, ideally in commercial furniture, architecture/design, or related capital equipment sales.
• Demonstrated track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Strong existing network within the commercial real estate, design, or facilities community a significant plus.
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple long-sales-cycle opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative and accountability for results.
