Work Environment

The position is located within our state-of-the-art Surgical Center, which is equipped with the latest medical technology and amenities to support both patients and staff. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including specialists from various fields, you will provide critical assistance in diagnosing and treating chronic pain conditions. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with chronic pain, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
• Identify patients who may benefit from interventional pain management procedures and manage ongoing medication therapies, tailoring treatment plans to individual therapeutic goals.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and explain treatment options to patients while addressing any concerns they may have regarding their care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members as necessary to optimize pain management strategies and ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor, assess, and document patients' health status, adjusting management plans as required based on clinical findings and treatment progress.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, including laboratory tests and imaging reports, to diagnose and manage both acute and chronic illnesses effectively.
• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in pain management techniques and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including those suffering from chronic pain conditions related to injury, surgery, or underlying medical issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in pain management or a related clinical setting.

• A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

While three years of relevant experience is required, candidates with advanced experience in pain management, knowledge of interventional techniques, and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be at a distinct advantage. Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
