Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and creating custom care plans for each patient
• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families focused on disease management, prevention, and wellness strategies
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your practice scope
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic management initiatives
• Working hand-in-hand with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, holistic healthcare
• Maintaining detailed and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Minnesota
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days)
