CNC Machine Operator

Job Description Job Type: Full-time Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week, 8-hour shift. (Second and Night Shift available) Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay. Benefits: 401(k) matching, Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, and referral program Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, stage drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances. Follow SOPs for machining operations. Load and unload workpieces into the machine using hoists. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced according to quality standards. Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as height stands, mics, calipers, ring gages and gages blocks. Requirements: Proficient in operating CNC machines, specifically with experience using Fanuc or OSP Minimum 2 years experience of operating one of the following or similar machines: Doosan VMC, Doosan HM, Okuma HM. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices Familiarity with various types of tooling used in CNC machining. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, stage drawings, and job orders. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Knowledge and application of precise measuring instruments including but not limited to calipers, micrometers and depth gages. Experience using hand tools, and other equipment commonly used in machining operations. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently.
