Sr. Director of Global Data Centers Sales

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is currently seeking a highly qualified and driven Senior Director of Global Sales and Business Development for Data Centers to become a part of our team. This position holds the responsibility and accountability for expanding Data Center opportunities by generating new business as well as further developing existing accounts, thereby maximizing the booking potential for TEI and achieving the company’s target bookings and growth objectives. The role entails formulating strategies and directives to meet or exceed TEI’s bookings, corresponding revenue, and margin targets for the Data Center product line, while working closely and collaboratively with the Data Center Engineering Team to secure new business. Key Responsibilities Lead Growth Initiative for TEis Strategic Plan, working closely with TEis Leadership Tean, developing and executing to robust plans for Growth. Analyze markets, conduct general and detailed market research, and generate new solution & market strategy and plans that support the company's growth objectives. Provides close assistance with the establishment of Data Center Sales Bookings targets during the Strategic Planning and Annual Budgeting process. Pre-qualify, analyze and forecast "key" international and domestic sales opportunities. Directly manage client accounts and provide senior-level guidance and oversight in the development of successful sales proposals and responses to Data Center requests for proposals (RFPs). Collaborate closely with the Proposal Management Team to formulate Data Center sales strategies. Coordinate client interactions involving other TEI company personnel as necessary, including support resources, team members, and management. Assist with complex sales negotiations, attends sales presentations and helps close sales. Contribute insights and support for Data Center market analysis and demand assessment across all targeted geographic regions. Participate in sales negotiations, attend sales presentations, and facilitate deal closure through involvement in contract negotiations. Expected to travel approximately 70% of the time, including about 50% for client-facing engagements and approximately 20% for internal coordination, business unit visits, and company meetings. A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or an equivalent Graduate Business Degree is highly preferred. Over 10 years of pertinent experience within the specified industry is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership within the relevant industry is essential. Outstanding communications skills required. High level of communication with internal and external customers at varying levels including Senior Managers. Experience in international sales and business development is mandatory. Proficiency in preparing and delivering sales and technical presentations to both Plant and Corporate personnel. Comprehensive knowledge of Modularization, Chillers, and Cooling Systems is expected. Must have valid passport and willing to travel frequently and at times on short notice. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary. Final offers may vary based on multiple factors including education, depth and relevance of work experience, relevant licenses and certifications, and may vary from the amounts listed in the job posting.
