Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid CTC Certification for Mild/Moderate Special Education (required)
• Experience working with elementary students with diverse learning needs, particularly in RSP or mild/moderate settings
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to develop and adapt individualized instructional plans

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in either a pull-out RSP model or contained 4th/5th grade mild/moderate classroom
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and accommodations
• Foster a supportive, positive classroom culture that promotes student engagement and growth
