Job Title: BACKFILL - TRAVEL - RN - D3A - PCU (616) 6:45PM - 7:15AM

Location: Asheville, NC

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1945.32 - 2042.59

Schedule: 18:45 - 07:15 (D/N)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Must have: Medical ICU experience in large facility, comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management. Must be a critical thinker, flexible and works well with others. Advanced skills needed: ventilator management, critical care pharmacology (IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors, etc), advanced hemodynamic monitoring, central line management. Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside nursing care in a 10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit.

• Monitor patients’ hemodynamics and ventilator parameters.

• Assist providers with bedside procedures such as chest tube insertions and intubations.

• Document patient care in Cerner system, ensuring compliance with policies.

• Support unit staff during shift changes, including bedside shift reports and nurse leader rounding.
