FSP-Associate Research Scientist
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Associate Research Scientist position focused on oligonucleotide LC–MS bioanalytical support and analytical instrument maintenance at a dedicated on-site service location. The role combines hands-on assay execution with instrument upkeep, software management, and technical project leadership for drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics studies.
Responsibilities
- Execute oligonucleotide LC–MS bioanalytical workflows including sample preparation, extraction, and data review
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on analytical instruments to maximize uptime
- Provide first-line diagnosis and resolution of instrument issues and software-related problems
- Maintain instrument software, licensing, version control, and computer system updates
- Serve as primary technical contact for weekly client communications and project updates
Requirements
- Strong background in LC–MS instrumentation and analytical techniques
- Experience with oligonucleotide bioanalytical methods and assay development
- Proficiency in computer systems, software troubleshooting, and operating system management
- Ability to perform user-level instrument repairs and maintenance
- Experience with data integrity and regulatory compliance documentation
- Project management and client communication skills
