About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of SEO and Growth with a strong B2B marketing background, particularly in the financial services or payments sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy, including technical SEO, site architecture, and keyword targeting. This role also involves owning paid acquisition channels, specifically B2B Google Ads, and leading PR, communications, and brand initiatives. The Head of SEO and Growth will be expected to define positioning and messaging, build the marketing engine, and report on key performance metrics. A hands-on, results-driven approach is essential, as is the ability to work with company leadership and manage a team of freelancers and agencies. Applicants should have 7-12 years' of experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth. Experience in financial services or payments is strongly preferred, and a background in merchant services or high-risk verticals is a plus. The role requires a deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and link building, as well as hands-on experience with Google Ads, including managing budgets of $50K or more. The ideal candidate will be adept at PR and media relations, with a focus on earning authoritative backlinks and building brand visibility. A proactive, operator mentality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment, are key attributes for this position.
