Bring your ambition to the table as we unlock new doors together, taking your career to the next level.**Bring your experience and be empowered to innovate.**As a Staff Accountant at Neighborly, a typical day for you will include:* Perform monthly closing activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, accrual schedules, variance analysis & commentary, financial statements, and reporting.* Ensure compliance with GAAP and Company policies and procedures.* Assist management with financial statements review.* Analyze financial information, reports (detailing income, expenses, assets, and liabilities), and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, statement of cash flows, and other reports.* Review and record sales contracts.* Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.* Understand and apply generally accepted accounting principles.* Prepare commissions and bonuses for the approval process.* Prepare schedules, test samples, footnotes, and related disclosures in support of the external audit.* Use software such as Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), Dynamics, Great Plains, SAP Concur, and Northridge Loan Management Software.**Bring your skills and be inspired to achieve success.***(Required qualifications)***Experience:*** A minimum of two (2) years of recent related experience is required.* Intermediate-level knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) is required.* Working knowledge of ERP/financial system.**Education:** Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting required* **Schedule / in-office requirements:** + Hybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in the office, Thursday/Friday from home. + Our office locations are: - 500 E John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX - 1010 N University Parks Drive, Waco, TX**Bring your goals and be enabled to reach them.*** Competitive Pay: Commensurate with experience* Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM local time zone* Benefits: Check out our benefits offerings here: Neighborly Benefits* Financial Benefits: Equity and bonus opportunities
