About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Dean for Assessment and Evaluation to play a pivotal role in the advancement of medical education. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a comprehensive, data-driven approach to assessing student performance, evaluating faculty effectiveness, and measuring curricular outcomes. This includes overseeing all aspects of assessment and evaluation across the M.D. program, with a focus on a robust competency-based medical education framework and continuous quality improvement. The role also involves ensuring accreditation compliance, integrating emerging technologies and analytics, and fostering a culture of inquiry, innovation, and equity in assessment practices. Applicants for the Associate Dean position should be accomplished educators and scholars with deep expertise in assessment and evaluation within medical or health professions education. The ideal candidate will hold an M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree, and qualify for appointment at the associate or full professor level. A demonstrated record of leadership, scholarship, and national engagement is essential. The role requires a strategic, collaborative leader who can build and scale a high-impact assessment and evaluation enterprise, contribute to the national conversation in medical education, and influence the development of future physician leaders. The Associate Dean will work closely with faculty, leadership, and governance bodies to leverage data for decision-making and support learner success in a mission-driven, innovative educational environment.
