Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days/Evenings | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Expected shift times: 0900–2130 or 1100–2330 | Weekend rotation and every other holiday | 4x12 schedules and assignments up to 26 weeks may be available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving both adult and pediatric populations
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including telemetry; must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start
• Float to other units as needed based on department staffing requirements
• Participate in weekend rotation and every other holiday as part of the standard schedule
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in alignment with departmental and organizational standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam (adult and pediatric) prior to start; passing score of 80% or higher required, with strict criteria for identification of lethal rhythms
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in an emergency care setting
• Familiarity with both adult and pediatric emergency care protocols
• Experience with longer-term travel assignments in high-acuity environments
