Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through video consultations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address specific concerns such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing proven therapeutic techniques to promote healing and personal growth.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with evolving goals.

• Provide referrals to psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals when medication management or additional services are required.

• Document all patient interactions and updates accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse client base, reflecting the rich cultural fabric of San Antonio. You will work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including—but not limited to—substance use disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related challenges, and eating disorders. Your expertise in varied therapeutic approaches will enable you to connect deeply with clients from different backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique circumstances effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a community or outpatient mental health setting.
\n
• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural competencies, with an emphasis on inclusivity in therapy practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in crisis intervention and management, demonstrating an ability to de-escalate situations effectively.

• Prior exposure to providing both individual and group therapy sessions, with an emphasis on integrative and holistic approaches.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) software to ensure accurate documentation and patient tracking.

• Superb interpersonal and communication skills that foster a trusting and therapeutic alliance with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, with the additional prospect of a sign-on bonus of up to USD 1,000.
