In this rewarding contract opportunity, you’ll provide dedicated, specialized instruction as a Special Education Teacher for middle school students, working full time (8 hours daily) for the 2026/2027 school year. The classroom is designed to be highly structured and self-contained, supporting students with diverse learning needs through targeted teaching methods and individualized support.

Your role will focus on creating and maintaining an environment rich in visual supports and embedded language, maximizing student engagement and growth. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to deliver an adapted curriculum, ensuring every student receives meaningful, personalized instruction aligned with their unique learning profile.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education certificate
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience providing instruction in a structured, self-contained classroom (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of adapting curriculum and supplemental resources
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families
• Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
