Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Arizona Special Education teaching certificate
• Possess a current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience or genuine passion for working with elementary-aged students in a resource setting
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Collaborative mindset and dedication to supporting diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and modify curriculum to address students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive student support
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Maintain accurate records and provide consistent progress updates to families and staff
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
