Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while helping create a professional and responsive environment.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Day Time Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Support security-related operations at a utilities location by helping to deter disruptions, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and communicating clearly with supervisors, employees, and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security-related experience of 2+ years is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
