About the Opportunity

A well-established manufacturer is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team and drive new product development initiatives across a specialized industrial product portfolio.

This is a high-visibility leadership position that will play a critical role in improving engineering execution, developing talent, implementing structure, and helping the organization bring innovative products to market. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance strategy, team development, and technical execution.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical and electrical engineers
• Drive new product development projects from concept through commercialization
• Establish project timelines, milestones, and accountability measures
• Improve engineering processes, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, and Executive Leadership to align priorities
• Serve as a technical resource and coach for the engineering team
• Identify opportunities to improve product development speed and effectiveness
• Manage engineering resources, priorities, and workload planning
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Proven engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Track record of successfully leading new product development initiatives
• Experience managing engineers and developing high-performing teams
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to implement structure and process within growing or evolving organizations
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
• Background in industrial equipment, engineered products, manufacturing, or related industries
• Experience improving engineering workflows, product development processes, and team performance
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement
