The Associate Manager, Media supports the Sr. Manager, Media in leading an integrated, full-funnel media strategy for the Yogurt & Shakes business, partnering closely with cross functional teams and our media agency across planning, buying, execution, and performance reporting. This role is HYBRID, in-office 3 days a week, and may be based in White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO.
We're seeking someone who brings both strategic vision and operational excellence, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to balance the strengths of both tried and true and emerging media opportunities as we drive stronger connected commerce from screen to shelf.
The media team is responsible for maximizing Danone's media investment, identifying innovative platforms and partners, and managing key relationships across the media landscape. As a core member of this team, you will act as the connective tissue between the marketplace, agency partners, and brand teams.
- Accountable for ensuring Danone briefs the agency effectively and that in turn, the agency delivers high quality media plans that achieve campaign objectives—whether launching innovation, activating tentpoles, reaching new households, piloting new partners, or driving ‑always on‑ awareness through continuous media reach.
- Manage brand team deliverables including owning ‑key timelines (tactical, trafficking and reporting, etc.), and serving as a visible, vocal leader in brand, enterprise, and agency forums to inform marketing decisions.
- Work collaboratively across the organization and externally to drive integrated marketing plans across all consumer touchpoints.
- Lead tactical planning with media agency team including media planning for brand launches, tentpoles, and annual campaigns across strategy, execution, optimization and learnings.
- Accountable for an enterprise focus area to scale education and impact across the organization (e.g., Upfront, AI, Sports, Multi-Cultural advertising).
The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 – $110,000.00 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. About You
FUNCTIONAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experienced in US media planning, buying and reporting analytics and insights
- Proven leadership; develops strong relationships with brand teams and agency teams and provides data-driven points of view to inform recommendations
- High business acumen; understands business priorities, category dynamics, and growth opportunities to proactively unlock value for the business
- Proactive, accountable, and confident leading deliverables end-to-end
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple brands with individual personas in a growing category
- Strong analytical mindset and media math skills; able to oversee multi-million media budgets, multiple brands with individual personas in a growing category, and ability to prioritize overlapping workstreams
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Enthusiastic about building best-in-class media plans for our iconic brands
INDICITIVE EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of media planning experience (agency or client side)
- Digital, programmatic, video, audio, social and retail media experience preferred
- Passionate about the ever-evolving media landscape and always looking to optimize plans based on shifts in consumer behavior
