This corporate-level leadership role focuses on building strategic client relationships, leading sales initiatives, mentoring business development professionals, and identifying opportunities across multiple business divisions. The ideal candidate brings extensive business development leadership experience within the electrical construction, construction, or related industries and has an established network throughout the Raleigh and Carolinas market.Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies that drive long-term revenue growth Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across multiple market sectors Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team to achieve growth objectives Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to support strategic planning Develop sales plans, performance metrics, and team training initiatives Collaborate with executive leadership and operational teams to align business development efforts with company objectives Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and key business development metrics Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry associations, conferences, and trade events Strengthen the company's presence throughout North Carolina and the broader Carolinas regionRequirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 15+ years of business development or sales experience 3+ years in a Director-level or senior business development leadership role Experience within electrical construction, commercial construction, or a related industry Established relationships throughout the Raleigh and Carolinas market Proven track record of developing new business and growing strategic client relationships Strong leadership, coaching, and team development experience Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications Master's degree in Business or a related field Experience in corporate training or learning and development Experience leading geographically distributed or remote business development teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
