Oncology Preclinical Safety & TS Intern

Johnson & Johnson seeks an oncology intern to support preclinical safety and translational sciences research in a 12-week summer program. The role offers mentored exposure to nonclinical safety evaluation, drug development processes, and cross-functional R&D collaboration within the global oncology team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to nonclinical safety strategy development and data synthesis for oncology programs
- Assist in interpreting preclinical data including histopathology and biodistribution to inform risk assessments
- Support cross-functional discussions with oncology partners on program safety decisions
- Prepare internal presentations, summaries, and reports on study readouts and risk assessments
- Present final project at intern symposium and participate in Bench to Bedside lecture series
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in accredited program
- Legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship
- Not graduating before, during, or after internship period
- Interest in toxicology, translational safety, or oncology drug development
- Ability to work hybrid model with three on-site days weekly
