Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed preliminary interviews and document case histories from initial consultations through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Create appropriate intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions to enhance client participation and recovery.
\n
• Monitor and assess progress throughout the treatment process and adjust plans as necessary.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers on intervention strategies.
\n
• Follow up with clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
\n
• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder clients' recovery, providing strategies to overcome these challenges.

• Work with family members and primary caregivers to help them manage their loved ones' mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with proficiency in delivering therapy across various modalities.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, is highly advantageous.

• Understanding of co-occurring physical health and emotional disorders, as well as substance abuse issues.
\n
• Adherence to best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills characterized by empathy, patience, and understanding.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
