Adjunct Instructor

Position Summary Provide instruction in pre‑clinical courses and pre‑doctoral clinics, as defined by the Department Chair in consultation with the pre‑doctoral and program directors. This part‑time position is anticipated to work approximately one (1) day per week (0.2 FTE). Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Candidates must have a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS/DMD) degree or equivalent, and be eligible for a North Carolina dental license or instructor license. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Minimum of five years of experience in educating dental students in pre‑clinical and/or clinical settings, or minimum of five years of experience in private general practice, or completion of an advanced dental education program. Candidates must demonstrate excellent clinical credentials, supervisory, organizational, mentoring, customer service, written and verbal communication skills, and a strong background in all aspects of general dentistry, including provision of care to individuals with special needs. Candidates should have experience in organizational and interpersonal skills and leadership.
