Laser Operator – Setup & Editing
Dayton, OH | Up to $25/HR
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating and setting up laser cutting equipment who can also make basic program edits and machine adjustments.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment.
- Load materials and adjust machine settings for production runs.
- Make basic program edits and adjustments as needed.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve routine machine issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Meet daily production and quality standards.
- Previous CNC laser operating experience required.
- Hands-on laser setup experience required.
- Experience making basic program edits required.
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Comfortable using precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
