Business Banking Manager

Business Banking Team ManagerManages the Business Banking team. Supervises banker's activities to make sure they are achieving overall goals and providing products and services to existing and potential Business Banking clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Sets goals for loan, deposit, wealth management, and other products and services.Ensures bankers are following lending policy and procedures.Makes sure their staff is adequately trained and informed of changes in the industry both internal and external.Monitors the portfolios of assigned lenders and may handle their own individual portfolio.Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by Senior Management.Incumbent is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.Supervisory Responsibilities:Manages several subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of six to eight employees in the Business Banking department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. Also, directly supervises eight to ten non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Minimum Required Education, Experience and Knowledge:Bachelor's DegreeFour to six years related experienceSix to eight years Business Banking experience acceptable if no degree earned.Proficient knowledge of banking products, specifically small businessProficiency with Microsoft Office productsExcellent communication, analytical, customer service, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively with all levels of personnelStrong presentation and training skillsEssential Mental and Physical Requirements:Ability to work under stress and meet deadlinesAbility to travelAbility to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
