This position reports directly to the Vice President, FTG Accounting & Finance.In this position, the FSG Senior Accountant will likely:Support the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for entities within the FSGPrepare necessary top-sided journal entries for eliminations or adjustments of foreign GAAP to U.S. GAAPAssist with the FSG Corporate entity closing, including reconciliation of intercompany accounts and review of subsidiary bank account.Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts while maintaining a high level of accuracyProvide financial and operational support to the HEICO subsidiariesObserve the year-end physical inventory counts at the HEICO subsidiariesConduct financial analysis and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external (SEC) reporting and for use in the preparation of the tax provision and tax returnPerform/assist with other duties and special ad-hoc projectsRequirements/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMinimum of two to four years of progressive experience in financial accounting (public and/or industry)Strong general ledger experience a plusKnowledge in areas such as intercompany transactions, financial consolidation of multiple subsidiaries, and foreign exchange accounting a plusStrong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with subsidiary controllers and employees of all levels, including senior managementStrong analytical and Excel skills; able to manipulate high volumes of dataHighly responsive to customer requirements, with a high attention for detail and accuracyMust be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a teamMust be flexible and able to multi-task in a time-sensitive environmentThis is a great position for someone who loves challenges, thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to learn about an exciting business and be part of a successful company with potential career opportunities.
