Your Role in Our Community

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses, collaborating with physicians or practicing independently (depending on your credentials)
• Educating patients and families about wellness, prevention strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your competency scope

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
