MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and our local client are NOW HIRING an experienced 3rd Shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator in the Park 100 area of Indianapolis!

Position: Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Overtime may be required)
Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Park 100 – Indianapolis, IN

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, transporting, and distributing materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and a safe work environment.

Candidates should have experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.

• Move materials between storage locations, staging areas, production, and shipping docks.

• Follow all forklift operating procedures (SOPs) for assigned warehouse areas.

• Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.

• Load, unload, transport, and store materials accurately and efficiently.

• Inspect loads for accuracy and safely transport products throughout the facility.

• Wrap, label, and stage materials for storage or shipment.

• Operate automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or related equipment as needed.

• Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning and battery charging.

• Record production data and material weights when required.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks (required).

• Previous warehouse experience required.

• Forklift certification required.

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Must successfully complete all required forklift training and operational evaluations.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks.

• Work in an industrial warehouse environment with seasonal temperature changes.

Work Environment

This position is located in a food manufacturing facility. Employees must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including:

• No jewelry

• No nail polish or artificial nails

• Long pants without holes or tears

• Lab coats and required protective equipment must be worn

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Required PPE may include:

• Safety glasses

• Safety shoes

• Additional protective equipment as required by the work area
