Billing CoordinatorBoston, Massachusetts, United StatesAbout the Job Billing CoordinatorSDL is partnering with a professional services firm seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Coordinator to join our finance team. This is a key role responsible for supporting the full billing cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with client agreements. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a solid foundation in accounting and a keen eye for detail. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, and tons of growth opportunity!Key Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and issue client invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing schedulesCollaborate with project managers and client service teams to gather necessary billing data, including time entries, expenses, and deliverablesMonitor billing activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processingIdentify and resolve billing discrepancies or issues in coordination with internal teams and clientsMaintain accurate records of client billing information and support month-end close processesAssist with accounts receivable tracking and follow-up on outstanding balancesSupport ad hoc financial reporting and special projects as assignedQualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 1 year of experience in operational accounting and/or billing, preferably in a professional services or client-facing environmentStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and billing processesExcellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with clientsOr refer someone SDL Search Partners
