Staff Mechanical Engineer, R&D

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and verify medical device components and subsystems with minimal supervision
- Translate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutions
- Lead prototyping and testing efforts to validate design performance
- Resolve complex design issues using data-driven analysis and author design documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally from concept through product launch while mentoring engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
- Minimum four years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies
- Proficiency with GD&T and CAD tools for engineering drawings and models
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with risk management and quality systems in regulated environments
Compensation: $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual
