Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students pursuing clinical licensure or those enrolled in their Master’s programs, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the field.

• Delivering effective psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and connecting clients with community resources to enhance treatment plans and support their comprehensive care.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in conjunction with clients and caregivers to meet their specific therapeutic goals.

• Maintaining thorough, accurate, and timely documentation and records of client sessions, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Staying current with research, best practices, and advancements in psychotherapeutic methods to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges and needs. This includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid state-issued license, such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

• Professional liability insurance to ensure compliance and protection.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in clinical supervision or mentorship of students and a strong background in evidence-based therapeutic practices will be advantageous for this role. Previous experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with remote therapy methodologies will enhance your ability to succeed.

Compensation and Benefits\n
