Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, families, and couples, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and records in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care delivery, utilizing a team-based approach that promotes shared insights into patient progress. Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of developments in mental health research and treatment methodologies. Patient Population / Client Focus Our focus is on serving a diverse patient population, including those from marginalized backgrounds who often lack access to mental health resources. You will work with clients facing a broad range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. Your role will be crucial in empowering these individuals to achieve their mental health goals and improve their overall quality of life. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas. A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting, is essential. Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and telehealth technologies is necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with a diverse clientele. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to provide holistic client care. A comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice. Preferred Experience Specialized training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly valued. Experience in providing remote therapy services is advantageous and will be regarded favorably during the hiring process. Familiarity with current mental health research trends and best practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Compensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
