The Role

We are looking for an organized, self-directed generalist to own the operational and administrative backbone of the firm. This is a hybrid role: part financial operations, part business operations. You will work directly with the C-suite of the firm and will be trusted with a broad range of core responsibilities from day one.

Some of the things you’ll do:

• Conduct research and present findings and recommendations in clear work products
• Manage business calendars, travel, logistics, administrative tasks, and events
• Coordinate with outside vendors including fund administrator, auditors, tax counsel, and legal on a regular cadence
• Manage state and federal compliance and reporting requirements
• Handle document management and firm correspondence
• Support annual tax and audit preparation
• Maintain the general ledger and keep clean, audit-ready books across our business entities
• Process vendor invoices, track accounts payable, and manage expense and receipt records

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for candidates with:

• Bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity or financial services context
• Comfort with Excel, standard office software, and third-party accounting and business service platforms
• Prior experience supporting executives with business operations
• Familiarity with fund operations, financial services, or a professional services environment
• Diligence, organization, follow-through, and detail-orientation
• Independence, self-direction, drive, and relentless focus on results
• Humility, both intellectual and interpersonal
• Team orientation

Compensation & Logistics

• Base salary range: $100,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience
• Discretionary year-end bonus
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
• Hybrid schedule: 1–2 days per week in our New York City office; otherwise remote, with flexibility around particular dates and times.
