About the Position

Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 48 Experience: Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position is for a Rapid Response Nurse. The role requires a commitment of 48 hours over 6 weeks. A minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience is required. Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a driven, organized, and efficient demeanor. A positive attitude and engagement are essential for this position. The unit typically manages a patient ratio of 1:2. Experience with the following equipment is important: Balloon pumps, CRRT, Hypothermia. Typical procedures include heart catheterizations, medication drips, and central line placements. Prior experience in a large facility ICU setting is preferred. Candidates with past Meditech experience will be considered first.
